Been thinking about my Hazel dress and what colors and fabric I should sew it in.
My thinking on fabric selection is :
- my first dress
- has to be easy to sew
- I want a light and airy feel
- beautiful summer print
- 2 colors
Now in keeping all this in mind I decided on using cotton and broadcloth since I am going for a sundress feel. Also I have had this fabric from timeless treasures in my stash for some time now.
So, it's a black dress and it does not bring sundress and summery to mind but I like it. Hopefully I can get started on this soon or at least cut it out.
